I have a medical bill from about a year ago. I called the medical center and they explained to me my debt has been sent to a collection agency. When I asked what I can do to remove it off my credit report, I was told it will not show up on my credit report because is considered in "soft collections". I have searched the internet and the fico forums and could not find too much explain exactly what soft collections are. If anyone has knowledge or experience with this, any info would be appreciated!
