I was discharged from a Ch 7 in Jan 2009. I just received a Citi Double Cash card last month. Not a large SL - $3k. I tried last year and they said no, give it 12 months so I did and was approved.
Also approved for Discover last month - again, a small SL: $5500
I'm not even going to apply for Chase until at least 10 years post discharge. That is what they told me after my Bk. But I discharged quite a bit through Chase so that may be a factor (mortgages and credit cards)
