What do you guys use to get credit scores

I have been using Experian only since October 2013.  It's pretty much the only one that is decently priced $9.95 a month.  Today I just got the myFICO $4.95 trial and it looks like it's only Equifax.  After the trial it's $14.95.  I also got the TransUnion 7 day trial for $1 yesterday lol.  Also, from my stats below myFICO is far below what the actual websites say!  That scares me a little.

Do you guys have all three credit reporting agencies score watchers?

How do you guys keep up with your credit score?

Do you just focus on one?

What website are you using?

Here is the problem with that score you are getting from Experian.

From the front page of their website, the disclosure at the bottom:

Calculated on the PLUS Score model, your Experian Credit Score indicates your relative credit risk level for educational purposes and is not the score used by lenders. Learn More.

Starting Score: 504
July 2013 score:
EQ FICO 819, TU08 778, EX "806 lender pull 07/26/2013

Take the myFICO Fitness Challenge

Current scores after adding $81K in CLs and 2 new cars since July 2013
EQ:809 TU 777 EX 790 Now it's just garden time!

June 2017 update: All scores over 820, just pure gardening now.

How sad! Well I cancelled my membership with them right now. No point in giving them my money when it's inaccurate! Thank you for pointing out what my butt should have read right awaySmiley Sad

Re: What do you guys use to get credit scores

I use a combination. I use SW here to monitor my EQ. I use CK for my TU and CS for my EX. The last two aren't set up to monitor, I just refresh my score every week and month accordingly. However, I don't use the last two to provide me with a score, just updates. If I need an EQ or EX score, I pull from here. For example, I pulled my EX score here before apping for AMEX. For TU I just wing it, since I don't have a CC that provides TU 08 and I'm not pulling an old TU '98 here.

+1

The TU98 sold here might as well be a FAKO, it's too outdated to be of any real use.

Re: What do you guys use to get credit scores

I use CK for TU, myFICO for EQ. For EX I use the average of CreditXpert, Experian and CS. A couple of times a year I pull myFICO to look at the report for irregularities and true FICO on the TU and EX fakos.

I keep an excel spreadsheet with the latest numbers as generated. I'm more concerned right now with a positive trend as hopefully the increased scores are generated.

Re: What do you guys use to get credit scores

I use all of them it seems.  I get FICOS from Walmart, Barclay, Discover, FNBO and myFICO occassionally.  I use FAKOS,  CK, CS, Credit.com, Quizzle.  But don't put too much empahsis on scores, especially while in the building stage.  Save your money.  Go for a clean healthy CR, the scores will follow, I promise.

I thought it was funny. The person to whom it was directed did not seem to have a problem with it. I like it.
