One of my accounts is in collections by Midland. In creditkarma the date opened is in 2011, but every month the report date keeps updating. So 6/30 then a month later, 7/30, etc. What does this mean? Is this Midland verifying the information to the CRA's? How does this affect my credit score? Should I just DV them anyway?

Sounds like Midland is updating monthly
As far as credit scoring its holding you down
Some CA's do this in an attempt to pressure you into paying (snakes)
DV? Is the debt yours and is the amout correct? If not DV
If accurate offer PFD
Good luck
