Re: What is CA had different "removal date" then OC

While the OC is required to report the DOFD to the CRAs, it really has no affect on the scoring or drop off dates of account delinquencies under the OC account.  It is not the OC accounts that drop off 7 years from the date of delinquency, it is each individual delinquency that has been reported.  The DOFD first delinquency will drop at 7 years from its delinquency date, but that does not erase subsequent delinquencies, which will them drop in subsequent months as they reach 7 years from their individual date of delinquency.

CA accounts are different.  The entire account drops from your CR at 7 ½ years from the DOFD.

So there is really no single drop off date for OC account delinquecies if there were multiple delinquencies.  But there is a single drop off date for a CA account.
