What should I do

I have a credit card with no lates, no negatives yet.  I owe them too much to pay them in full, i can settle for 1/2 however wont that be bad on my credit? what should i do so it does not negatively impact me?

I'd say if you can afford to pay on time at least the minimum, don't settle because it will negatively impact your credit.

Also, contact your credit card to try to get a lower apr or see if they have plans to help pay down your balance faster (make sure these aren't hardship programs as most of these require you to close your account which will also affect your credit)
