What to do about this?

I have paid off a Verizon debt over a year ago, it still shows up on my credit report as $24 balance. I have called Verizon and they said they would update but never have. They said that in their system, it is a $0 balance. Can I dispute this or what? I haven't tried a GW with them yet. Let me know, thanks!

You can but all they have to do is update to paid.

A direct dispute would accomplish the same thing, an update to paid.

I hear Verizon is a tough nut to crack as far as getting them to remove TLs but anything is worth a shot.  Send them a GW.

Lol why do you always give me bad news. Was hoping you would tell me I can use it for a deletion lolll. Damaging credit takes a day, fixing it takes forever.
