What to do first?

Experian "updated" the information that I disputed. Ok, so I assume that means, verified somehow, though Equifax deleted.

Anyways, it is a Cox account that I do not believe is accurate, but I do not want to waste another 30 days on re-disputing it.

It's listed as I.C Systems on my Credit Report.

I've gotten the contact information for them, but should I MOV, I've read you really don't get much information. Or should I contact Cox, though i've heard that they are horrible to deal with and won't help, OR, should I attempt to contact I. C Systems and PFD with them??

All of this MOV, PFD things make my head hurt!!!

Thank you for your advice!!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: What to do first?

I am not following.  Equifax deleted the item aready however Experian just updated the info that was disputed.  I would try and dispute again with Experian.  However it might take a whie with Experian.  I would call them about it.  I did this with TransUnion in regards to a payoff and they explained to me when it would be deleted.  Experian might be waiting to see if the creditor will dispute the information before they take it off.  That might be part of the issue.  Be persistant and patience.

Re: What to do first?

Don't dispute anymore.  Have that dispute and any other thing that says dispute removed from your CR before you apply for your mortgage.  Trust me on this one.  You can start it back up after your mortgage but those disputes have to be gone for the mortgage to go through.

Re: What to do first?

You are following, actually! Smiley Very Happy

Equifax has indeed already deleted the account, within 10 days of me disputing.

Experian results simply stated Updated, and from what I can tell, on my previous report prior to the "updated" one, it had KD in April , then ND in May, June, July, then KD in August, and Sept.  NOW, the updated report shows only KD in Oct.

So, I figure they must have somehow,"verified" and I have no choice but to try to PFD.
