When Will My Collection Fall Off?

I have searched online for an answer to this and I seem to be finding conflicting information.  I have a collection on my credit report.  I know that a collection falls off after 7 years but I can't find the specifics on what date to go by.  Also, I am now finding that it's 7 years + 180 days, so I just want to know when this particular collection should fall off.  This is what is on my Equifax report:

Date assigned: Nov 01, 2003

Date reported: Mar 01, 2007

Date last active: Jul 01, 2003

Thanks for all your help!

Re: When Will My Collection Fall Off?

You need the DOFD to know when it will fall off.  But going by the 2003 date it should be coming up on it soon.

Re: When Will My Collection Fall Off?

What does DOFD stand for?  Date of First... I can't seem to figure it out.  The dates that I posted were the only dates on my Equifax report.  Is there somewhere I can find out what the DOFD is?  Thanks!

Re: When Will My Collection Fall Off?

Date of First Delinguency.

DOLA can also work.  July 2003. This should come off around Jul 2010, give or take 6 months.
