When emailing an OC (Executive Office) attempting to PFD, should you use a PFD letter?

Sorry, might seem like a silly question but this is my first time doing (at the suggestion of another member with success) and I was wondering if when emailing it should be as formal as a mailed letter?

It's past my state SOL and scheduled to be re,pved from my credit in a little less than 3 years.

I would not be emailing anything there are no legal protections afforded email, the US mail certified is the way to communicate to retain any rights. A fax would also be another option to communicate it is recognized as a legal form of communications if suit needs to be brought.
