I had Capital One delete a old charge off from 2010 via a goodwill letter. The collection tradeline from PRA still remains and I've had no luck good willing them. When will that collection fall off? Is it DoFD from the original creditor?
Yes it will fall off no later the 7 years 181 days after the DOFD. You can try for early exclution 1-3 months before it is 7 years after the DOFD. You can get paper copies of your credit reports and find the DOFD and its fall off date.
