Where to go from here

I recently got 2 negative accounts off my Equfax account. One was Chase and the other was NVLV because they were old. I thought this would cause a huge jump but didn't. I am looking for advise on what to do next. I have 5/7 collection accounts paid off. The other 2 has a combined total of $120. I have a judgement that was posted on 5/12 and it is paid off. I have 3 different sallie mae's that has a 90 late in 6/07. This too are paid off. I have one revolving credit line with a &1000 limit that I keep around the 3-4 hundred range. On 6/25 my score were: EQ-594, trans-526, Ex- 626. Today 8/24: EQ-602, TU- 573. Please give me advise on what to do next. We are wanting to buy another house (currently own with $30,000 equity) and I'm so frustrated. Thanks!

Re: Where to go from here

Collections (paid/unpaid) hurt equally, but paid is better during UW. Get the goodwill letters going, asking for removal.

Re: Where to go from here

I would pay the remaining $120.00 ASAP.  That is peanuts.  Some people spend that at the local Coffee shop (Dunkin Donuts) every month.

Re: Where to go from here

I you have unpaid balances that are very smal amounts, I recommend that you pay them off even if you do not receive the removal letters from the creditors. If you are looking to buy a house, having unpaid small amounts don't look good to underwriters.
