Which FICO score version should I be paying attention to?

Hi all,

I have subscribed to myfico scoring and its been a while since I have been on here. I see their are new types of fico scores now. I am in the process of rebuilding my credit and after dealing with the collections on my credit report, I want to apply for one more credit card. Which FICO score type should I pay attention to? My scores below are FICO score 8. I notice with the old models my scores are almost 80-100 points lower.

thanks advance!

My last app, i think chase used Fico 09 as i was trying to match what they had (their internal scoring) vs all the EX fico versions i saw.

For right now, in general I would stick with Fico 8. Most lenders are still using that score. However, if you know exactly what a lender is using, and can reference or find that particular score of yours, that's even better.
