Which do you go by for SOL date of last activity or date assigned?

One is for medical collections and one is an old cell phone account, both are with CA.  I disputed the old cell phone one with all three, and they all three list the same dates.  Removed as old from Experian and from Transunion but Equifax says no still in SOL.  What gives are they different for each?

Legal SOL and reporting SOL are different.

Legal SOL is the time in which the creditor has to sue you.

Reporting SOL is how long they can report on your CR, referred to as CRTP.

CRTP is 7 years from DOFD. Per law, the 7 year clock does not start until 180 days past DOFD. So, in reality it can remain for 7.5 years from DOFD.

Legal SOL goes by DOLA.
