Who has had luck with getting an OC to PFD?

I've seen plenty of success stories involving getting CAs to PFD. But has anyone had any luck getting an OC to PFD? If so what were the circumstances/agreement?

Many OCs like a CCC will not accept a PFD.

Yeah that's what I'm seeing. I bet there are a few circumstances where it has occurred though.

I was able to get Progressive and Time Warner to do it, but they assigned the debt to the collection agencies.  I think that is the only way for it to work.  If the debt is sold to a collection agency then I believe you have no recourse except to deal with the CA.
