Who to ask for deletion

I have a sprint bill showing up on my cr.  This is an old account it has been sent jeffferson cap for collection I really need it off my cr I can pay it in full, show I ask for deletion letter and pay sprint or jefferson cap ?

Send a DV to Jefferson Capital. I'd also call Sprint to see if they own the debt and to request a copy of the last bill.
