Why I'm rebuilding.

I see so many people giving reasons for why their credit is bad and they're rebuilding. They lost a job, got divorced, had an illness, etc.  I just want to say that I'm doing this because I was really stupid and did not behave like a responsible adult with my finances from about age 22 until now.

We were all there.  Some more recently than others.  I "forgot" a few payments on my CapitalOne and they're still haunting me.  Only 3 years of credit under my belt.  Glad I caugh hold before it was too late.
