Now I am not complaining at ALL because I got a 19 point score increase but I just want to understand. I filed a dispute to Equifax about an old judgment bc it was not reporting as paid. I expected them to change it to say "satisfied", but he deleted it. Why would that happen?
I had a judgment on all 3 reports back in 2010 disputed and poof they were gone!!!!!
Could be a number of reasons
No response to dispute
Old and outdated info (aged off)
Congrats on the scoring increase
It was filed in June of 2007. New weird thing though, here on myfico.com it says it was deleted, but when I check the status of my dispute it says that Equifax verfied that it is reporting correctly. Now I'm really confused here.
It's been satisfied for about a year now.

How long had your judgement been satisfied before you disputed the reporting?
4 months. it was still showing unpaid, when I disputed it to be listed as paid... they deleted it.
I did the same think with transunion but they only updated it to paid.

If it isn't on myFICO report but EQ is saying it stays, I would pull a report directly from the CRAs. Those are the most accurate and detailed. If it is there then it is still being reported.
Also, keep in mind that a dispute of a PR is done differently than a normal dispute. The CRAs have the capability of checking it themselves.
Is it possible that the cra deletes the judgement bc it had been satisfied?
