Wife and I have bad marks for no credit cards, do we get one?

And which one should we get? Should we get one together? I'm pretty confident in our ability to control spending (we all had to grow up at some point right? and we have used cash only for four years so we have trained ourselfs)

I wouldn't get joint cards but that is just my opinion.  You each should establish your own.

I would first try for secured cards through your banking institution then go from there.

You definitely need some CC.
