I am beginning to write a DV for 6 yr old unpaid medical debt. I just wanted to make sure this wouldnt cause a stir on my credit reports. They are only reporting to Equifax, but I am afraid a DV would wake them up and start reporting to all three again. WAY PAST SOL FOR THESE! Please help....

Yes, it definitely could cause them to update on your CRs and also to renew their efforts at collection. If not ready to pay these, I'm not sure I'd DV them right now. Save up a bit and see if you can PFD them for a discounted price.
