Will one secured card be enough?

I just started rebuilding a few weeks ago. I have already been approved for a Cap 1 secured card. Will that be enough?

Hello, another bank card maybe Bank of America or Wells Fargo and some type of installment line of credit like a fingerhut fresh start program.

Re: Will one secured card be enough?

That's what I started with.  A capital one card with a $200 limit (only had to pay $49) last year.  Cap 1 increased it to $300 3 months later, and last month they increased it to $750, no additional deposit required from me.    I also got preapproved for a Merrick Bank card with a $700 limit.

I think it's helping increase my score:  Just don't make any mistakes while rebuilding.

Re: Will one secured card be enough?

I would recommend having 2 cards when rebuilding.  If you just applied for a Cap One card I would try to apply/obtain a 2nd card so they age together.  That's my opinion.
