Woke up 2 a Removed Collection ...

collection account removed from Equifax.
Total owed : $4500.00
Aprox Age : 4 years
Not paid
Collector : local law firm

Its a private student loan which boosted my CK score 21 points. Im waiting on the FICO alert now. However, it was not removed from Transunion. Because i never paid or contacted them, im concerned. Do you think this is getting passed to a new collection agency ?? Im gonna contact the school on Monday morning to see whats up.

New CA most likely bought it. It may reappear iminantly.

If the debt collector had their collection authority terminated, they were requried to have deleted with all CRAs.

I would first want to determine who now owns the debt, and whether the debt collector still has collection authority.
