Wow, you guys are relentless! I too am having a hard time getting HSBC to remove some lates from a closed account. I got the return phone call with the whole "we have to report accurately" statement. I also received a letter yesterday stating that they were looking into it... Since my account was closed in 2008 they have "purged" it from their system so she couldn't even tell me when those lates happened! I'm hoping I can have each of the CRA's TRY to validate each late...

I have two accounts that are under HSBC. Can you please provide me with the email address and just a brief synposis of what your issue is. I dont wont to bother them with a GW letter if its not worth it. It may be worth it that I PIF the balance. Congrats to your success.

Man School, I ididnt have the same success IN FACT HSBC was the first to EVER tell me NO! So you know I walked away licking my wounds. Congrats!
