Esme, who did you contact about removing the negative reporting on your student loans? My situation is similar to yours when it comes to SallieMae.

Thanks in advance

@esme

This is awesome! I am sooo glad to see such success and it really gives me hope on trying to get a home in the next couple months (we are thinking the same thing as you are with buying a new home, putting a contract down and getting our credit score up  in time)

Maybe we will be neighbors!! :-) Hurray for Loudoun County!

The Pre-HIPAA letters worked almost immediately with TU. All medical collections being reported there (paid and unpaid) were deleted without questions.

I'm still waiting to see what EQ will do, but so far one of the collections on my EX came back verified and updated, and the other two are still under investigation. Sucks. It's still worth a shot even if only one CRA deletes. It's still less work just working on the other two CRAs Smiley Happy

Esme, would you  mind sending me a PM as to how you did the whole Hipaa thing.  To be honest, everything I read online completely confuses me.  I have several medical collections on my CR and haven't even begun with them because I'm just so confused.  Don't know where to start.  Not even entirely sure of the premise behind Hipaa to begin with. Smiley Sad
