Writing a Goodwill Letter: What department should the letter be addressed to?

Hello friends,

I am new to myFICO and recently learned about the Goodwill Letter requests through this forum.

Thank you for your collective knowledge.

I am in the process of writing my first goodwill letter to a former creditor regarding a single '90-day late' removal from my credit file.

While I have the majority of the letter written, I was wondering what department the letter should be addressed to.

In a general circumstance, the letter should be addressed to which department?

I'd feel better knowing I have a chance if it's in the right hands.

Welcome to the forums! This is an awesome place to get advice on all things credit.   If you can find an executive e-mail address, go for it. You may have to use the address information listed on the CR.
