XB Code or "in dispute" should be ignored by FICO?

I have read that accounts in dispute should be ignored for FICO calculations.  I have actually read this on several websites.  If this is true, how do you explain that my EQ score is significantly lower than the other two.  All account information is exactly the same, except for some medical collections that are currently in dispute.  Any thoughts?

Collection accounts are fully factored in during a dispute, or they are supposed to be.

Only certain aspects of a disputed OC account are removed during a dispute.
