Just wanted to vent my frustration......What took me 18 years to get and establish good credit along this time span, went to **bleep** because my company had to lay me off. I tried my best to work with all my creditor's, mortgage. Not one would take a dime from me other than what is listed on "their" computer screen. So the result is several charge off's and collection's. I did manage to save our home but not the long term effect's of my credit. I guess the fall from fame to being treated like a dirt bag by debt collector's is the thing we all dream about....I never felt any remorse for all the Silicon "cuts", yeah the ones that make large incomes but now I understand.....
I do what I have to do now to support my family but for those that have fortunes as I once did, please never take anything for granted.
