Yes some collections are off

I took a look at my reports today & noticed my gw letter helped at least EQ and a collection was removed, TransUnion removed a collection account, now that leaves EX that won't budge. I lost my credit history with all 3 that I had dating back to 1993 so now I'm denied for short credit history. WTF?

If the account was being reported by the OC, it was counting in your age. How old is your oldest account?

This is what to be careful of when GW'ing OC for older accounts.
