I've not done it myself (I did a secured loan) but some other people here have mentioned it. As I understand it, you deposit $500 into savings, they issue you a secured credit card with a $250 limit, and then they deposit $250 into your checking account, and you make payments on the $250. You can call them for the details I'm sure.
