any idea what kind of increase to expect

I have one collections a medical bill for $50. I paid it and paid $4 for a letter stating that 30 days after payment cleared it would be removed from all credit reports like it didn't happen. I have other neg. remarks but no other collections. right now my mort. fico scores are 594, 625, 658. How much of an increase do you think I might see?

Please be a little clearer. You said you have other negative marks. What exactly do you mean? Do you have lates or COs. The increase all depends on what other negatives you have. Also, it is hard for anyone to say what kind of bump you will have. There are so many different factors involved in scoring. If is the only negative then I would say it will be a nice jump. If you have 120day lates, then not as much.

I have late student loan payments and two of them were 120 days late last October.  I have 2 30 day late CC payments from 2009 and 2011. I recently paid my utilization down from 98% to 10%. My scores went from mid to high 500's to 594, 625, and 657.

The 120day lates will hurt you the whole time they are on your report. The 30day lates probably aren't as damaging at this point. Great job on your UTI%.
