auto insurance score?

CK has an auto insurance score. Im just wondering if this is actually used, and if so... why would mine dropped 40 points in the past 6 months with no lates or changes to policy?

Yes. A number of insurances use it. I tried to find some info on hiw its calculated but really couldn't locate any. Mine has improved about 50 points since I started my rebuild. Its still ranked as poor while my credit scores are fair.

I just called Progressive this morning and my score improvements saved me about 28% or $500 per year on insurance. So yes, it's used and yes it matters. How to improve it, no idea.

my credit was bad, but my insurance score was almost 900, but its been dropping as of late and I dont know why? Pay on-time every month, no claims, no changes or anything. I was confused.
