Just a note. It is great to have all your baddies fall off. Untill the last one falls off from like 8 years ago and your credit history goes from 8 years to 3 years. Then you lose all the points you have gained over the past two years of credit rebuilding.

It is always better to have a clean file than a great score with a bunch fof baddies on it, you will recover the points over time, your Fico score is not the whole enchilada its just a part of the approval process
Reduction in avg age of accunts would be the result of voluntary deletion by creditors, not credt report exclusion of derogs.
Exclusion of derogs reported by a creditor does not result in deletion of their entire account, only of derogs reported under the account.
They continue to be included in your AAoA.
Unless the creditor decides to voluntarily report deletion, their account will remain in your credit report until approx ten years after date of closure, at which time the CRA may delete as their own internal, houskeeping decision.
Exclusion of collections has no effect, as they are not included in AAoA calculations.
