build credit with WORK ONLY SOCIAL#

hello everybody , recently i got my permit to work in the US and i am trying to build credit. unfortanately when i apply at some banks( credit unions) they cannot give me a secured credit card because on my social it says WORK ONLY. is there an alternate way to get around this. i want to establish relationships with the banks so in the future i can get a loan with no problem.

here is what i currentlly have: secured loan with OCCU, boa secured credit card, citibank credit card, usbank secured and wells fargo

Some will work with you as you have found out others will not as you have found that out also. There is no way I know of to get around it until you become a permanent resident alien or a US Citizen.
