I am about to contact capital one because I have a charge off credit card with them. I want to do whatever I can to bring up my score and this is the only thing that has brought it down. I owe about $3000 on it and was wondering what you all would advise that I do, and how I should word it. Would it be best for me to ask for a PFD and pay the full amount, or settle for $1900, which is what they offered me. And If you have any letters that you've used in the past that would help, would you please PM me?
