I have a very old charge off that still shows up on my Experian, but NOT on my EQ ot TU reports.
It was an auto loan originally opened in 06/01/2002.
I have not had ANY contact with the creditor since 2003. but on my report it says reported 02/29/2012 (10 years later!!).
Now this charge off is going on 13 years old and still remains on my Experian.
Will it ever "fall off"?
It is way past the 7 year mark and past the statute of limitations rule for Texas (where I live).

Pull your full credit report from annualcreditreport.com and find out WHO is reporting this and find out why it has apparently been re-aged.
I agree.
I recently paid off a First Premier charge off and after they updated the account balances my fico jumped 43 points.
The charge off status is still being reported in the comments and account status. Hopefully, I can get this changed in the future to Piad in full and/ or closed.
It happens to be my oldest account, so what affect it will have on AAofA is unclear.
