if i pay off a chargeoff that shows in my revolving credit debt , will it increase or decreased my score, charge off is 3 yrs old
The damage is the same for a charge off whether it's paid off or not unfortunately. Your score will not change. You'll need to try and get it completely removed to see a score increase.

The only thing I will add that if it was an OC charge off, once paid, the amount will no longer be in your overall revolving utilization, which is a good thing.
