It has been a bit over a year since they last updated so it could drop your score.

I would contact them an ask if you PIF will they delete.

Is it ok to call first and see what they say about that or do it all in writing from the start? Thanks so much for your advise. Il try to leave you guys and gals alone! Lol I thought this was paid long ago that's why I'm freaking out now

One more thing. Is the balance or past due amount what is owed?

Just to have a paper trail, I would write them.

I would think the balance is what is due.  It is a bit odd they are reporting a balance and a past due.  Most of the time it is just a balance that is reported.

It was a 5,000 cl. I think 937 was the most ever charged and 437 is what was left unpaid. Unless they want the full 937 I don't see why it would only say 437 is past due? To me that is the amount owed

937 would be the balance on the account and the 437 is past due.

If what you say is true, they are not reporting correctly. 

That is why I said they don't normally report a balance and a past due on a CO'd account.  Unless it is partially charged off but I don't think it was.
