consumer alert?

I got a cap1 denial becsuse of a " consumer alert" on my file. What is this?

Have you been disputing inquiries (hard pulls) on any of your credit reports?

 

Aka.. Fraud alert, which is usually requested by the person that's listed on the credit file, unless the CRA thinks something is funny, and places it by it's own discretion.

Blue Sky probably did, and/or old addresses, which causes a big red flag until the time limit on the FA runs its course. You'll need to verify your identity for an app, and that means all instant approvals for any credit will not happen AT ALL.

 

Edit: you'll be opted out from credit offers during this as well.
