credit history longer then 7 years

Hi everyone, I have this credit card that is owed but its definitely longer then 7 years but the problem is the new collection creditor is submitting the wrong open date. My question is what is the best way to fight this? how can I obtain the original date when it first when delinquent! does myfico offer your full history longer then 24 months? any help would be appreciated - David

Welcome to the forums.

When a CA reports their open date, it is the date they acquired the debt from the original creditor.  It has nothing to do with when you opened your credit card.
