I have a collection from Figi's that is $190 reporting late and sent to CA. I have never purchased anything from them but they have an address for my parents. I tried calling and they said I have to dispute it.
Isn't there anything else I can do? I have not lived with my parents for some time now and this is really dragging my score down. I've worked so hard with the help of these forums. Ugh
Is it your parents?
If it is it could possibly just been put on the wrong CR. I would start with contacting the CRA and ask them about it. You may need to send copies of IDs for both of you to get it corrected.
It is my mothers, she is not exactly helpful. I'm disputing it and hoping for the best. Thanks for the input!
