follow my journey

here is my story, I plan to keep everyone updated as I reach each milestone....I am trying to raise my credit score as quickly as I can from now until Mid March with the hope of buying a home this spring.

 

current scores as of 11/15/2016:

fico 8 equi- 582, trans 586, exp 626

mortgage scores (as of 11/2/16): equi 586, trans 603, exp 587

 

Here is my report history:

 

bankcruptcy - Chapter 7 in 2010

 

 revolving credit : NO LATES

milestone credit card balance $0.00/ limit $300.00- PAID today

Capital one quick silver $0.00/$ 500- PAID today

Capital One Platinum $1921/$2000

First Premier $350/$550

First Premier  $632/$ 700

Merrick $1100/$1200

 

 

installment accounts:

regional acceptance balance $22000- no lates -opened in 2014

 

naviet/dept of ed roughly $55k in student loans- currently deferred - lates in 2013

 

Negatives:

credit one bank- charge off 2010- sold to midland funding $600- resulted after 2010 seperation

capital one auto finance- repo 2011 reporting balance of $11000- charged off - resulted after 2010 seperation

resident collect - old eviction- 2010$6k- included in bankruptcy

 

I have a plan to pay down approx $1000 per month on my credit card debt.... will update you as I am alerted to any changes in my scoring or report ...WISH ME LUCK!Smiley Wink

UPDATE!

I have paid in full 5 of the 6 credit cards. I still have one cc throguh Capital One that is reporting $1950/$2000. Please bare in mind that I am still waiting on my Merrick bank card to update. I paid that off last week. it had a balance of $1114/$1200...

here are my fico 8 scores as of today. I have not gotten an update on my mortgage scores yet but I plan to as soon as Merrick updates which should be by the 19th at the latest.

 

equifax- 597 (+15 )

Tansunion 603 (+17)

Experian 647 (+21)

 

 

this is my progress since November. I cant wait to see my Mortgage scores after Merrick updates Smiley Happy
