foreign Debt and Reporting to US Credit Bureaus

Can a debt incurred in another country be reported to US credit bureaus?  I have an outstanding debt from a creditor in a foreign country (forgot about it) and received a dunning letter from a company called Global Ajdusters LLC...I would doubt they have my social security number or any other information on me here in the US.  The debt is probably 3+ years old
