household bank credit card

date opened june 2002, first reported october 2004. original amount $950, high balance $1463....account has been sold twice Calvary and now Midland Funding. how do I get this off of my credit report, disputed it twice and it had no affect, but to change statue to continue on record until july 2016? also the amount has now increased from orginal $950 (HHB)to $1463(Calvary) to $1759(Midland Funding) Plz, what can I do to get this removed? both are still reporting on my credit report

Hello and welcome to the boards!   This may be a better question for the "Rebuilding" section, since many members who post there are familiar with these situations.

I'm assuming this is a CO (charge-off).   Do you know the DOFD (date of first delinquency)?   Also what state are you in?   Different states have different SOL on CCs, which may affect how you choose to approach this issue.
