how big of a change my score if i go from 2 collections to 1?

i have the opportunity to pay off a collections and have it take off.  but it will leave be low on money to pay off other important bills.  how big would the jump be if i go from 2 to 1?    its a loan i didnt pay. the other is a broken lease.

wether the collection delete will help your score grow or not, paying it off but leaving yourself with not enough income to pay current bills is not a great idea. I would save some more and negotiate at the time, remember you have what THEY want, balls in your court, use that to your advantage.

i just dont want to pay it off right now, and it only be a few extra points on my scored.   if i saw a 20 point swing i would do it in a heartbeat.       but points wise on my credit report, i wonder how big the jump would be.

my last collection i paid and had deleted net me 21 points
