how long should I wait for collections to come off?

I got two PFDs on collection accounts. Only thing I didn't clarify was how long it would take. The letters say "after receipt of payment, we will request that your account be removed from all 3 bureaus. But doesn't have a time limit.
In your experiences, how long after payment will this take? Is it fair to expect that they will be gone next month?

For me it has taken anywhere from 1-6 weeks.

It can take up to 60 days once they actually send the deletion request, this is true if its done manually. Sometimes they will first update to a paid CO then submit the deletion request so it can delay as well. I would not expect it to be done in 30 and be happy when it actually is.

K thanks. I wasn't sure. Hopefully by August I'll see the changes.

I was lucky and had 2 TL's deleted within 30 days after the deletion letter was sent out. In once case TU took the longest to delete,, on another one I had to call EXP and dispute.  Best of luck!
