Has anyone actually ever seen or been presented with such a forged document? Has anyone ever demanded that a court authenticate the document, not just the signature?
Forgery is a criminal offense.
I've heard tell of them
But, btw, Chase is the OC, not a CA. Feel free to sign something you're sending to the OC. I think sometimes handwritten is more effective, since it's clearly not a cut-n-pasted letter, and it shows that you took the time do do more than hit "print".
@Anonymous wrote:Type letter and do not sign it. For the sincerity of the letter that should be felt in the composition of the body. With the right words you'll convey sincerity and also have a professional looking document.Good luck and never give up.
That only applies to a DV going to a CA. You can handwrite and sign anything going to the OC.

Forgery is a criminal offense.
Yep, it is. That is why many CAs are banned from collecting in states, lose their licenses never to be reinstated, etc.
(flogs self for signing DV letter)
