I have an autoloan with capital one that has been late 30 days consectively since 2012. I didn't notice I applied for a deferment around aug 2012 but some how it wasn't process. I didn't notice was late because it's autodrafted out of my account just didn't pay it any attention because I knew it was due every month on the 24th.  I have since made payments to catch up the loan plus lates in addition I have spoken with Cap 1 but they refuse to remove the lates. Any suggestions?

When did you first become delinquent on the loan, and when was it returned to pays as agreed, good-standing?

Stated differently, if delinquent for a lenghty period, they could have reported consecutive monthly escalations to 60/90/120 late, but chose only to report as 30-late?
