Just figured I would post my recent fico score sim vs. actual as I have been unable to find much actual comparison data on the boards.
Reducing from >70% to <35% UTL per the simulator would do the following:
EQ: 621 -> 641
TU: 629 -> 654
EX: 619 -> 654
And the outcome of doing exactly that was:
EQ: 621 -> 639
TU: 629 -> 659
EX: 619 -> 654
w00t!
Here is some additional info for comparison purposes: My 2 CC limits total $1,550 (so it didn't take much), I have previously poor student loans (120+), 2 cars with Honda Financial (never late), no collections/judgements. My simulation was ran the same month I pulled all three credit reports, so all of the current info was used to make the simulation happen.
I have also simulated a 2 and 3 month plan which I will update when that hits 30 days from now or so.
