On my credit report it shows I owe to the dept of defense. My va loan mortgage broker sent out a letter of indebtedness & it came back saying I owe $0.00. I have disputed w/ credit bureau & it came back as verified. What do I do? Should I call the bureau & ask for it to be removed based on the letter?
I'd send copies of that letter to all CRA's posting this bal. OR...if the letter has contact info, like a name & #, call it & find out who can send updated/correct info to the CRA's
