Would they be required to remove it from the report in the meantime? I'd imagine the one that reported is entitled to collect since they reported. I cant imagine its that easy to just throw something on someones report.

It is actually very easy to put something on someone's report.  No prior notification or proof of the debt is required.

 

And because they have reported it doesn't necessarily mean they have collection authority.

 

If you send then all DVs the one that does will hopefully respond.

 

No, they don't have to remove it since it is already there.  If they cannot validate rather than choose not to, they should delete it.
